At 396 nW\/m on NAB is like listening a 45 rpm to a 33 1\/3 rpm LP. Of course the dynamics on the 396 will push most tape machines to the limit. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s getting closer to 30 ips but not the 30 ips relax clarity, smoothness and fullness. But 396 are the apex on the 15 ips. I think you made a great choice to go with 396.
